I found the following list on an old xanga entry of mine (I was 18 at the time)...and I've put in bold the things I actually accomplished since then. I'm a few years past 20 now, but we'll just think of that as bonus.
20 THINGS I'VE ALWAYS MEANT TO DO, BUT NEVER GOT AROUND TO (AKA 20 THINGS TO DO BEFORE I TURN 20 REVISED)
-bungee jump (did this. was one of the top 5 best moments of my life)
-steal (borrow?) a golfcart and take it on a joyride (we'll count this as a quarter. My friend Ian and I jumped on one and took a bunch of pictures...but it was locked down, unfortunately, so we couldn't do anything)
-learn how to ride a bike (hahaha sadly...this has not been accomplished yet)
-eat a nick tahoe's garbage plate (I finally did this with Crystal and Noel Koo on my first return visit to NY)
-learn how to drift. (unfortunately, no. But I did learn to drive stick, so there's a step in the right direction)
-hotwire a car (I lost touch with the friends that actually knew how to do this...)
-read war and peace (maybe about half...)
-ride a motorcycle (I don't think I've done this yet)
-get over a 200 in bowling (i can dream!) (there's an addendum here that I got a 198, but not quite 200. I don't think this is true though. I think this is a typo. It's more likely I got 98, not 198. I do remember this day though. I choked under the pressure and gutterballed on the last frame)
-sleepover at barnes and nobles (I wish! I've worked at a library until 2 am...does that count?)
-own a dog (This should be a quarter too. I had a roomie that owned a dog, and I dog-sat a few times...)
-make someone breakfast in bed (yup)
-get breakfast in bed (actually i'm not sure about this one. i'm thinking how uncomfortable crumbs in bed are right now) (I got scrambled eggs in bed, if I remember correctly...thus crumbs were not a problem)
-order room service (didn't feel nearly as luxurious as they make it out to be in Home Alone 2, but still felt like a king)
-finish my book (I've finished two)
-go on another missions trip (I've gone on three)
-go on a road trip with my cousin matt. where we will go, nobody knows. he doesn't know about this yet either. (and he never did)
-learn how to make kimchi (hmm...I should learn this)
-create a time machine (If I did, I wouldn't tell you)
-turn 19 (yes!)
I'm not big on new year's resolutions, but there is quite a bit to look forward to this next year. I even started making a 30 things to do before I turn 30 list...which I may share in the near future.

In any case, happy new year! I've been neglecting this blog, but I'll have a few new posts coming soon.
